‘A LIBERTARIAN SOCIAL’ this Saturday in Atlanta

Metro Atlanta Libertarians are getting together for an early summer social at Smith’s Olde Bar on June 10, 2006

June 7, 2006: Atlanta - 'A Libertarian Social' is designed to bring local Libertarians together in a cool and comfortable atmosphere for mingling and discussion of local Libertarian issues. Also serving as the kickoff for the Greater Atlanta Libertarian Party Meetup Group, the event is being sponsored by the Libertarian Party of Georgia, thinkLIBERTARIAN.com, and the Libertarian Action Network.

“Along with working together, local Libertarians need to have some fun together,” says thinkLIBERTARIAN.com founder Mark Augustyn.  “As the first of many socials to come, we want Libertarians from all across metro Atlanta to meet, talk and build friendships with each other.  The better we know each other, the more fun we can have working together.”

‘A Libertarian Social’ will take place this Saturday, June 10, 2006 at Smith’s Olde Bar, located at 1578 Piedmont Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia, 30324.  The event will start at 8 p.m and is free of charge. The club’s telephone number is (404) 875-1522, their website is www.smithsoldebar.com, and there is plenty of free parking around the club.

“If you have been looking to get more involved, this is going to be a great place to start. Come on out and mingle with party leaders, candidates, and other active Libertarians in the metro Atlanta area. Learn how you can help out with a campaign or volunteer some time in the office. Or bring out a friend who needs to learn more about what the Libertarian Party stands for,” says Mark Augustyn.
